All my life, I’ve had the aspiration of Greatness. I have yet to achieve this, but the determination is there. There have been triumphs, and there have been drastic failures. The constant remains through it all though, and I will achieve my goal, God willing.
All the great people in history have lived for a strong purpose. It may be religious, political, for civili rights, or for any cause. Great people, the ones we remember, are those who made great personal sacrifices for what they believed to be a great cause. Jesus, Ghandi, Nelson Mandela, Martin Luther King, Mother Theresa are famous examples.
There is a concept in personal development called finding your “true north.” It means identifying with certain values, beliefs or behaviors that come from within that are going to remain constant regardless of what turbulence is going on around you in life. It keeps you grounded even when you are having issues with relationships, career, money or anything else.
It is those for whom their marriage is the great purpose in their life that are going to fall on seriously tough times if it falls apart. It is those who live for their career that are going to have issues when they are made redundant. People who have something greater that drives them can dodge life’s obstacles a lot easier.
Living for a higher purpose goes beyond insulating yourself from a relationship break up or a career failure. It is a reason to be passionate about life, a reason to get up in the morning. It is something to contribute to the world and something that gives you immense satisfaction. It is the kind of thing you want to be remembered for when you die.
Even if you are not Ghandi your passionate promotion of a cause may be the spark that ignites someone else who then goes on to become the next Ghandi. There is a butterfly effect going on here, and you can have a profound impact on the world unintentionally and without realizing it.
Anybody can live for a greater cause. We are all great in our own way. And there are personal benefits. It makes you humble, it connects you to others and it builds empathy. If makes you passionate and inspiring. It makes you interesting. Most of all it makes life more fun and worth living.
Living a purpose driven and goal driven life is more exciting that sleep walking through life. You can shape the direction and shape the purpose rather than living on someone else’s whim.
We are forever thankful for our place in the history online, but with most things, the season changes and preparation for a new day comes. The whole culture has taken on a very erratic and chaotic pace, diminishing true model marketability for the most part. We’ve never been followers, and yet again we’re seeking to trailblaze. The site will remain in force, however watch for variation on the SB horizon.

We’ve been putting a lot of work in….a LOT of work. There isn’t very much that is being published because of the intensity and depth of what’s being worked on, but just know that we’re here, stronger than ever and ready to give you what you want better than you even realized you wanted it. In the meantime, we’re fast approaching our 7th year anniversary on Christma Day, so in the spirit of the season……………………
Ahhhh….the Daylight’s Savings Time of the year is here yet again, and it never ceases to amaze me how it continues to sorta throw things out a bit. Everyone should be pretty much adjusted by now, it’s time to “fall back.” Interesting assessment of the time. With the changes over the years in this hectic world of online enterprises, the “game” has forced our hand and I regret to inform that a major change is soon to be seen here. It’s become increasingly chaotic, what with daily surges and resurging individuals, groups and entities prescribing to be authentic and of genuine business interest, when it’s as transparent as cellophane tape that it’s all just a facade and a hoax. For the longest of time, it was all seemingly somehow under loose control; but as of late the lid has just been blown off the trash can. It’s simply too much to stomach anymore. Right now, just know a system is working its course, and what will be will be. I’ve enjoyed the privilege of working with some really great people, and I’ve appreciated the genuine sincerity with which I’ve been spoken both to and about. Fall has just brought a new course of action, and it’s no longer to be denied here. It will all come to light very soon.
Congratulations are in order for the New York Yankees who won the World Series for an amazing 27th time tonight.
